Five Device Recharging Station

Five Device Recharging Station
As a Geek, perhaps you have the same issue as I do. You see, gadgets require power to charge up and the more gadgets you collect and use, the harder it is to find places to plug-in all your gadgets so when you’re running out the door in the morning to sit in traffic you don’t forget you Treo, Blackberry, iPods, etc… Combine this with multiple people in your house and every socket in your kitchen is in use! Wouldn’t it be great for cable organization so your gadget resting place looks as nice and neat as your wiring closet only you see in the basement? The Five Device Recharging Station is a recharging platform that, go figures, stores and recharges up to five devices from one convenient place with four integrated AC ports and two USB ports. Keepin’ it real fake, part CX: Game Joy micro

Keepin’ it real fake, part CX: Game Joy micro
Posted Feb 10th 2008 4:28AM by Paul MillerFiled under: Gaming We’ve seen a couple fake Game Boy micros in the past, but none of them have been as faithful reproductions as this one here. Sadly, we’ve got little to go on as far as games or other functions in this “Game Joy micro,” but it looks like at least Tetris is a shoo-in, which is really all that matters. Check after the break for a few other gems of fakery.[Thanks, Johnny] Tags: PDA, gizmos, game, players (Read the full post about ‘Keepin’ it real fake, part CX: Game Joy micro’…)

Microsoft misses some Valentine’s Day Zune shipments?

Microsoft misses some Valentine’s Day Zune shipments?
As it turns out, Microsoft may be breaking a few hearts by not being able to fulfill all its Zune 80 Valentine’s Day Originals shipments, but not all is lost for their loving customers. Users who haven’t already gotten their units will apparently get a full refund — as well the player they ordered. Aw, isn’t that candy-heart sweet? And should you wind up with one of these for V-Day, you might try every so gingerly asking for dinner with that $250 your special someone saved. iWave Cube, the personal portable microwave

iWave Cube, the personal portable microwave
Posted Feb 9th 2008 11:10PM by Paul MillerFiled under: Household There comes the time in every young person’s life where they decide to graduate from the microwave to the stove. And fail miserably. Now instead of retreating dejectedly back to the kitchen microwave, where the rest of the appliances can point and make fun, you can hide your shame with the iWave Cube. The little microwave measures one cubic foot (about the size of a Kleenex box), and weighs just 12 pounds. Unfortunately, you’ll still need to plug it in, so there’s a limit to how far you can run. Microsoft asks Nokia to introduce Windows Mobile OS compatible phones

Microsoft asks Nokia to introduce Windows Mobile OS compatible phones
Microsoft has realized that to retain its all-pervading status in the world of software, it will not suffice producing systems software and software that would run on PCs. The advent of high-end mobile technologies is carrying the operating system from the desktops to the mobile handsets. This is the reason why Microsoft is trying to convince Nokia, the world leader in mobile phone industry to release handsets that use Windows Mobile OS in addition to Nokia’s Symbian platform. Now it remains to be seen whether Nokia accepts the proposals from Microsoft and releases a new series incorporating Windows Mobile OS. Palm releases GSM Centro in Europe, available beginning February 14
Palm has just announced the soon-to-be-available unlocked GSM Centro. At first launch the unlocked, quad-band GSM Centro will be available in black only. The Palm Centro features a 320 x 320 display, 1.3-megapixel camera with 2x digital zoom and video capture, 64MB of user storage with a microSD card slot for additional storage and 4 hours of talk-time with 300 hours on standby. The unlocked GSM version runs Palm OS 5.4.9, sadly it still does not offer any 3G support, but that does come with a little upside as it just helps increase the battery life.
