Driver’s Ed for Nintendo DS

Driver’s Ed for Nintendo DS
Every kid wants to learn how to drive a car before he or she even goes to school, but Driver’s Education is any kid’s least favorite class. I never thought driving could be made so boring. Fortunately, teenagers today can now learn Driver’s Education from this great game on the Nintendo DS called Drivers Ed Portable. Developed by DreamCatcher Games and JoWooD, it offers a “fun way for new drivers to study the material”. This game features two modes: Test and Train. The Test mode has some sample tests from all 50 states for the written part of the driver’s license examination. It also has tests from 13 Canadian provinces and territories, as well as tests from other countries such as Spain, Italy, France, Germany, and the United Kingdom. Pics of the Nokia 6205

Pics of the Nokia 6205
The yet-to-be officially announced Nokia 6205 could be seen with these photos. The Nokia 6205 will be an entry-level handset exclusively for Verizon Wireless. There is not much known information about the Nokia 6205 just yet, although the handset will reportedly feature 1x data and no EV-DO, external music controls, and basic VGA camera with flash. Since the images on the screen look small, Phone Arena surmises that it probably doesn’t have QVGA resolution. In all, the clamshell Nokia 6205 seems to be a very basic (hopefully) low-end phone. Tangled wires make cool lamps

Tangled wires make cool lamps
I spent a few years of my life working as a networking technician, so I spent a good deal of time both running and re-organizing cabling. After working in such a position, I pride myself on my ability to keep the cabling in my house neat, organized and most importantly, untangled. However, designer Kwangho Lee has spent his days learning to tangle up wire. I didn’t think that it took any real amount of time to learn how to tangle cables, but I guess if you want to make it actually look cool, you’re going to need plenty of practice. The result of his hard work are these interesting lighting fixtures. These lamps started as an art project that sort of evolved on its own over time. Sorapot Teapot. Just Add (Hot) Water

You know, if you’re going to demo your product on video, at least do it properly. To the untrained eye, the clip of Joey Roth using the high-tech teapot, the Sorapot, to make a cuppa seems fine. It certainly shows how the steel, glass and silicone pot works.

But Joey, next time you make tea, talk to somebody from Britain. (Read the full post about ‘Sorapot Teapot. Just Add (Hot) Water’…)

We know a good deal when we see one, this is not it; Linux-based Eee PC, Microsoft Office bundle
British online retailer BT Shop is currently offering a bundle that is sure to make just about everyone scratch their head. Lets just hope that some unsuspecting person does not take advantage of this offer thinking its going to save some money, because in turn it will just waste it, that is unless they have another Windows-based computer lying around that needs Office. Sadly the bundle, aside from being incompatible only saves the user £1.76, which is around $3.50 US. Via [CrunchGear] Keep up with the latest gadget goodness! Price revision for Xbox 360 and PS3 in Asia

Price revision for Xbox 360 and PS3 in Asia
I don’t know about you, but somehow many people still equate Asians, especially the Chinese, to be too thrifty for their own good. I suppose it is payback time for Microsoft as they are working on price cuts for its Xbox 360 console in Asia, trimming the recommended retail price by a measly 5% to nearly 20% in a quartet of areas throughout the region. South Korea benefits the least with a 5% cut, while Taiwan’s 20GB model will receive a 17% discount. Singapore benefits the most from this price revision exercise with a 19.5% drop. As for Sony, they took the opposite route in Singapore by raising its 40GB PS3 price to $394. (Read the full post about ‘Price revision for Xbox 360 and PS3 in Asia’…)
