The uCan mp3 player from Ubana is yet another waterproof device to hit the market, giving swimmers (synchronized or otherwise) an additional method to relax while they’re busy cutting through the waves. It comes with 1GB of storage space in addition to 15 hours of playback time. You won’t be able to take this diving with you though, as it has a maximum working range of just 10 feet beneath sea level - any more than that and I believe the pressure will just crush the waterproof protection, rendering it useless. Good thing it floats up should it happen to slip off while you’re busy with your laps. (Read the full post about ‘Ubana uCan Wearable MP3 Player’…)

Folks who can’t wait for Metal Gear Solid 4 to come out on the PS3 can at least get their hands on the MGS4 Bluetooth headset. The MGS4 Headset is a standard Bluetooth 2.0 hands-free device, which means it can be paired with both the playstation 3 and any Bluetooth-enabled cell phone so you can rock it both at home and on the street. We’re certainly down to roll with it in public, as it offers a good deal of contrast to the stand-issue Bluetooth headsets on the street. Spec-wise its battery life is rated at 8-hours of talk time and 160-hours of standby. I believe this will see more action outside of the home rather than in front of the PS3 itself, and MGS fans can give each other smug looks as they pass by on the street, with Joe Public not knowing any better. Wenger Swiss Army Clippers Once upon a time, male grooming used to be the preserve of the few. Chaps who appeared in glossy ads. Suave secret agents. Airline stewards. Those sort of chaps. Now, it’s everyone’s game, and a bloke can’t so much as move in Boots without being asked where the fragrance-free moisturiser is. Coolkii has released its new range of USB flash drives that feature Swarovski Strass crystals all over - known as the StarKii. Unfortunately, the capacity isn’t much to shout about with a maximum of 2GB. These will be available in France, Belgium, Switzerland, and Canada (hmm, all French-speaking countries here - am I missing something?). NASA will be returning to Mars near the end of May with the touchdown of the newest Martian probe, the Phoenix Mars Lander. On May 25th, the craft will land on the planet’s northern hemisphere, farther north than any previous probe landing. Engineers from NASA, however, will be anxiously watching the decent of Phoenix as the method of the probe decent will be unlike recent landings using an airbag cocoon. This time Phoenix will use rocket thrusters to land on the Mars surface which is technology that hasn’t been tried in 32 years since the Viking 2 lander. I hate admitting this, but I’m a horrible cook. I generally stick to things that involve either a microwave or boiling water. Sometimes I’ll actually use the oven, but only if it’s something simple. Needless to say I don’t do any grilling, and wouldn’t carry around a portable grill if I could. However, if you’re the kind of person that lives to grill and grills to live, check out this cool folding BBQ. This cool grill folds up to only around an inch thick. You can fold it out and dump in your charcoal and be ready to make some real food. While this seems like an excellent idea for those times when you’re going to be in the great outdoors and need a grill, you’re going to have issues when it’s time to go.
