Eee Box; more details leaked

Eee Box; more details leaked
While still unconfirmed, some further details have begun to leak out about the upcoming Eee Box from Asus. Although these are far from official, TrustedReviews are claiming the specs have come courtesy of a “very reliable” source. Which at this point any information is welcome, with the Eee Box, we have had very little to go on aside from the early mock-up images and then the leaked image, which most felt looked not nearly as nice as the mock-ups. Otherwise we have heard that was set for a July release, but the specs have been elusive. The new details are placing the Eee Box with a June 3 announcement during Computex and that it will feature 2GB of RAM, a 160GB hard drive and be running the same operating system that is found on the very lovable Eee PC notebook. Sporting a very similar look as the current MOTOROKR E8, the EM30 has landed at the FCC and received their approval. The most notable difference between the EM30 and E8 is the navigation pad, the EM30 uses a D-pad as opposed to the omega wheel navigation. The Motorola EM30 is your basic looking candybar style handset, however it does offer some nice features, which includes the keypad, it changes layout based on the current application in use. The EM30 also includes a 2-inch display, 2-megapixel camera, stereo Bluetooth, 3.5mm jack, FM radio, microSD card slot and takes advantage of Motorola’s Crystal Talk technology. Nokia 6555 Review - the Washingtonpost

Nokia 6555 Review - the Washingtonpost
The Washingtonpost reviews the Nokia 6555 and writes, “On the imaging front, the Nokia 6555’s 1.3-megapixel camera does a solid job reproducing colors but scored poorly in terms of resolution and noise. You probably won’t be framing any photos you take with the 6555…Overall, the Nokia 6555 offers users a solid feature set for an entry-level phone, but with a few drawbacks you might expect from any phone you’re getting for free with a contract. The lack of multimedia functionality is an annoyance, but realistically you probably aren’t going to find a great music or camera phone at this price.” Read more about the Nokia 6555. by Darren Murph, posted May 24th 2008 at 3:01PM If you’ve ran smack into any flavor of foreign object while waiting impatiently for your navigator to “recalculate,” you’ll likely be salivating for Sanyo’s latest duo. The NVA-MS1280DT and NVA-MS1180DT each feature a 4GB SSD drive (though the former adds a 4GB SD card and DVD support), a 7-inch QVGA display, 43-watt x 4 internal amplifier, MP3 / WMA / AAC playback, a 1-seg TV tuner, 3D maps, FM tuner and ipod support. In all seriousness, the SSD is bundled in not so much for its speed, but for its reliability — either way, we can’t help but be enamored. Both units are slated to land in June for ¥181,650 ($1,761) and ¥155,400 ($1,506), respectively, so it’s fairly easy to see those solid state dis (Read the full post about ‘Sanyo crams SSDs into new duo of in-car navigation systems’…)
