BlackBerry Bold for Rogers gets priced, $299

BlackBerry Bold for Rogers gets priced, $299
It was just about a week ago that we first began hearing that the blackberry Bold would make its debut with Rogers for the low price of $199, and while it may have just been a week, that price has since been deemed inaccurate. The new listed price will instead be $299, which of course as standard with Rogers comes along with a three-year agreement. Coming from the early reviews that have been showing up on the web, it seems that while the $199 price tag would have been really nice, the $299 is still going to be more than fair. Of course, the pricing is still yet to be officially confirmed, however the Bold is expected to be available on July 25, so it should not be much longer before we all know for sure.. Sony PS3 80GB for $399. 40GB version will fade out

Sony PS3 80GB for $399. 40GB version will fade out
Sony has announced that they will commercialize a new version of the 80 GB Playstation 3 that will sell for $399. Most playstation 3 with this capacity come for $499 today. The company says that this new model will have the “same functionality” than the 40GB one, meaning that it will not be backwards compatible (yuck). It seems logical to think that Sony will drop the current 80GB that has (limited) backwards compatibility. That seems to indicate that Sony is giving up on this aspect, after touting it during the ramp up to the launch. Are you going to rush to get the current 80GB? there’s a whole saga about the PS3 compatiblity, so you may want to read this, or check the stat (Read the full post about ‘Sony PS3 80GB for $399. 40GB version will fade out’…)

Lifemap puts you on the map

I don’t know about you, but I have a lot of pictures. They are on my digital camera, my video camera, my cellular phone, and some of them have actually made it onto my computer for permanent storage. One day, one fine day, I shall put them all on an album or something as a chronicle of my life.

I believe that the Lifemap is for that purpose. What you do is attach a digital camera or other photo-taking device to the Lifemap, and you can put all of your photos in proper order. Beyond that, that is all my source knows on this particular invention, besides the fact that it has a QWERTY keyboard and a touchscreen.

Primal scream therapy that doesn’t bother the neighbors

Primal scream therapy that doesn’t bother the neighbors
If you’ve never tried screaming to your lungs’ full capacity, you really don’t know what you’re missing. But what if you don’t live in the woods, away from all other humans? What if you have neighbors who aren’t supportive of your efforts to rid your body of primal pain. Screaming into a pillow just doesn’t cut it when you really want to scream from the depths of your soul. Japan Trend Shop sells this shouting vase for $79. It’s a plastic thingy that goes over your mouth and converts your explosive, pained, angry, gut-wrenching cries into little whispers that come out at the other end. Hmm, I don’t know. How much of the release you feel after screaming comes from merely letting it out? (Read the full post about ‘Primal scream therapy that doesn’t bother the neighbors’…)

An icy treat that’s good for you

An icy treat that’s good for you
Yogurt Ice Blended from Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf is cold, refreshing, NON-FAT, contains 4 active cultures, and is packed with protein. Like the Coffee Bean’s brew, it’s not too sweet. It has a tangy bite and comes in 3 tasty flavors - Strawberry, Mango and Original (my personal favorite). My grilfriend - and guinea pig - prefers the mango for the citrus boost. A relatively guilt-free treat, it’s made with non-fat yogurt with four very lively cultures, with 25% to 50% of the total recommended daily calcium intake and between 9 to 18 grams of protein per serving. But don’t take our word for it. We’ll be giving away free coupons to Popgadget Drop email subscribers. Sign up here for our free emails. Nokia Wraps Phone in Cowskin and Rock, Charges $1800

Nokia Wraps Phone in Cowskin and Rock, Charges $1800
“The Art of Seduction… Begins with Knowing Your Own Essence.” This piece of verbal meaninglessness, which could be straight from the script of Zoolander, is waiting for you at the Flash promotion site for the 8800 Sapphire Arte, Nokia’s new blingphone. The press release continues in a similarly air-headed vein. For example, while eschewing the traditional shards of Swarovski glass, the phone’s main navigational knob is made from sapphire “which intrigues with its strong heritage and coveted appeal.” It’s easy to mock. So we’ll continue. The leather covering, sourced from East India, comes in “luxurious brown and coffee tones [which] remind us of understated elegance. Tokyoflash’s new line of watches feature custom engraved wristbands

Tokyoflash’s new line of watches feature custom engraved wristbands
Tokyoflash, a Japanese watch importer, has just announced they will be releasing a whole new bunch of unisex watches for their Nekura series. The watches all have that nice sleek metallic look and one is even inspired by a speedometer. The line itself is definitely for those that enjoy an almost industrial look added to their watch. Even while looking industrial, they still manage to make it chic. The fact that they are unisex is even better, it seems like thick heavy watches like this (which is my favorite kind of band) never come small enough for women. This new release will include five new watches, which are custom engraved and the wristband made of brushed stainless steel.
