Wireless Display Blood Pressure Monitor

Wireless Display Blood Pressure Monitor
Most blood pressure monitors we know are portable devices that are wrapped around your arm before it gets to work - this one does the same albeit with a slightly different approach. It comes with a detachable wireless display for optimal viewing. This is the only blood pressure monitor that transmits measurements to a detachable wireless display that can be positioned up to two feet from the main unit for optimal viewing. Easier to use than wraparound cuff models, your arm rests comfortably in the enclosed cuff which inflates with a push of a button. The monitor uses the oscillometric method of measurement to record blood pressure readings accurate to within 3mmHg and pulse rate accurate to within 5%. Sonic to fight the Black Knight

Sonic to fight the Black Knight
When was the last time you played a game with Sonic the Hedgehog in it? Maybe you’ve been staying away from the little blue speed devil since his days on the Genesis, or maybe you’ve been playing all the way up to Mario & Sonic Go To The Olympics, and Super Smash Brothers Brawl. One thing is for sure, barely anybody played Sonic and the Secret Rings. So why would Sega want to revive that particular series? One can only surmise… The new title, which will be previewed in the September edition of Nintendo Power is called Sonic and the Black Knight. A scan of the cover showed up last week, but there was no way to confirm if the image shown was real or not. (Read the full post about ‘Sonic to fight the Black Knight’…)

Apple Apologizes for MobileMe — Again

Apple Apologizes for MobileMe — Again
Saying sorry doesn’t mean you’ll change. Less than a week after Apple apologized for problems with its recently launched online service MobileMe, more issues arose. This time, some users are experiencing  inaccessibility to e-mail, while European free trial users were hit with an accidental credit/debit card charge of over 100 British pounds. MobileMe’s support web site displays a status message reading, "1% of MobileMe members cannot access MobileMe Mail. We apologize for any inconvenience." However, one percent may be a generous estimate. A quick Twitter search reveals that several users are unable to access Mail; in an Apple support forum thread,  some users have reported experiencing Mail downtime since July 18. Wine in pop-top cans: A sign of the times

Wine in pop-top cans: A sign of the times
Every once in a while, some new idea comes along that is very practical, but probably won’t be implemented because “it has always been done this way”. For example, the idea of wine in pop-top cans. I’m sure a lot of wine connoisseurs are probably saying: “Wine in pop-top cans? Zut alors! Cans are for beer! Fine wine shall not be drank like le Budweiser!” Two Swedish designers named Jens Andersson and Jonas Forsman have created a special kind of can designed for wine-drinking. As you can see, they are definitely classier looking than traditional 12 ounce cans, especially when it comes to the shape and the pop-top. In case you are wondering, they are recyclable. The lighted Ur. Frog Wrist Rest

The lighted Ur. Frog Wrist Rest
Not too long ago the Croissant Wrist Rest made its way around the net, coming with a fresh bread scent.  However, this latest wrist rest is definitely way cooler.  First of all, this squishy little frog can be hooked up to your USB port and to activate the pretty lights.  Nothing is cooler than a squishy glowing frog, it’s just the rules.  Although, it does look a little morbid, since it looks more like a frog that was recently run over by a truck.  Well maybe not a truck, probably just some evil little kid with a wagon or something equally small and fatal. BenQ Reduces BD-ROM Drive Price

BenQ Reduces BD-ROM Drive Price
BenQ will definitely introduce a smile to the faces of those who want to hop on the Blu-ray bandwagon by reducing the price of its BR 100 BD-ROM optical drive by a whopping 33%, touching a new low of $120 compared to the previous recommended sticker price tag of $179. Analysts have predicted a further decrease in prices later this year, targeting a level nearer to the $100 mark. If that were the case, do expect Blu-ray movie sales to start increasing slowly but surely. I would say this will indirectly impact the rise of widescreen LCD monitors that support full HD resolution. At what price are you comfortable with for a BD-ROM drive?
